Paul VanEeden CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. CVV-X DON'T BUY Apr 29, 2005

Has a very large land position in the Athabaskan basin. The question is how much uranium do they have. Feels they got into the Athabaskan a little bit late. A far better uranium strategy would be to buy Cameco (CCO-T).

BUY
Feels there will be a speculative uranium bubble that will only begin now. This company may have something here and the stock price could appreciate.
BUY
A speculative uranium play. It has managed to get a very interesting land position and is positioned to take advantage of any up movement in uranium prices. Highly speculative.
WAIT
They own some land in Saskatchewan and will eventually drill with the hope of finding uranium. A very risky situation. Would wait for the mood to be more positive for the juniors.
BUY
A major player in the junior uranium market. Has become one of the major dominant land players in the Athabascan region. They are currently drilling and he is expecting some drill results soon. Speculative.
COMMENT
A fairly interesting story. Trying to get some joint ventures done with Mitsubishi. He is looking hard at this company.
COMMENT
Haven't tracked this for a long time and doesn't know management well. Unique with assets in the Athabascan Basin. Latest claim to fame has been an agreement they reached with the Korean consortium, Mitsubishi.
SELL
When analysts are cutting estimates, do not average down. Wouldn't touch this one with a 10-foot pole.
BUY
Have some interesting prospects on some properties. Have some financial partnerships with South Koreans. Looks like it is forming at bottom here. Not his favourite, but it meets his initial tests so it is starting to gain some attraction.
WATCH

Uses intellectual acumen to stake prospects, mainly in the Athabasca Basin. A uranium explorer, which tend to move later in bull markets but more dramatically. If they're successful in the next 6 months on farm-out deals, he's likely to buy in. Has done well in past uranium bull markets.
