Gold in South Carolina. A past producer that was closed and reclaimed. Good drilling success in finding more ounces and consolidating the land together to re-open and re-start. May be forced to re-engineer the entire project, resubmit a new environmental impact study and provide more data on the quality of water and disturbances in the area. EPA was not happy with the reclamation and closure plan so there is concern on increased costs. Good entry point if you have a longer-term view.

Was Short on this one but covered the call when bad news hit. Had permit problems and project delays. Believes they will ultimately resolve the issues but won’t be without some trials and tribulations. If you are not risk averse, wait and Buy at a higher price when their problems are solved.

COMMENT
Got a bit ahead of itself over a year ago and he reduced his position. However, he has started to add back slowly. Did a financing and have lots of cash. Just came out with an update on their project. Part of the issue they have now is that they have to deal with the governments and the bureaucracy involved. Had been hoping to have a permit by the end of this year but this won't be out until August/13.

Unfortunately, junior mining companies sector is such that nobody cares right now. Cancelled the financing in the last month, which is never a good sign in the short term. As far as a junior gold mining potential company goes, it is pretty good. Nice project and good management and they know what they are doing. It’s just an ugly scenario for gold.

There is no analyst following it. They finished the mine and there should have been a re-rating of the stock. They had problems underground with cave-ins. They had to stop mining and raise money to change the way they mined. He is watching it to see if he should get in again. It should be able to bounce back at least somewhat.
