David Fingold ProspEx Resources PSX-T DON'T BUY May 27, 2019

It is a big company. He never heard a compelling plan for resolving issues from a few years ago. Their medical equipment business is not in the parts of medical equipment that are growing very well.

HOLD
A spinout from Esprit Resources. Looks interesting. They have good knowledge of their land and where to drill. Could easily double their production. Good leverage.
DON'T BUY
The jury is still out on this one. The assets that were originally in Esprit were somewhat suspect, so when you take them and split them into a trust and an exploration company, it's hard to develop them.
BUY
Great little company. Hard working company. Has a sector outperform on it. Well run. Not flashy, so you'll have to be patient with it.
TOP PICK
Relatively unrecognized. Management has done a good job of bringing lower risk natural gas drilling prospects into the company, growing reserves and production. Likes their high impact drilling portfolio. Good upside potential.
WATCH
Natural Gas - this commodity could drop even further in the next month, so take your time getting into positions. 3 picks he would look at would be ProEx Energy (PXE-T), ProspEx Resources (PSX-T) and RSX Energy (RSX-X). They are all good western Canadian producers with good growth profiles and good properties.
TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Oct 27/06. Down 2.4%.) Hit by soft natural gas prices. Continues to have solid underlying growth in its production. Very strong portfolio of medium risk natural gas exploration and development properties but it also has some very high impact, deeper gas drilling targets in western Alberta.
WEAK BUY
Believes that in 12 to 18 months natural gas prices will be in the $6-$7 range. Short-term he expects some downside so you need to be able to take the volatility. Have some decent projects in the Montney play.
