Cannabis outlook Cannabis will be one of the fastest-growing industries globally. In Canada, these stocks were way up then pulled back till we now see the producers who will make a profit vs. those who won't. In the U.S. it's a land grab until there's legalization. Meta is a retailer, a sector that has runway in Canada compared to the producers. Meta just did a merger with the aim of becoming Canada's biggest retailer. This will give them buying power and will widen margins. In 5 years, we'll see saturation in retailing where some producers will survive and others not. He likes the cannabis retail sector. A common complaint is that cannabis companies have raised all this money but haven't produced EBITDA. We're getting there as well as growth as companies expand with more stores.
