PAST TOP PICK

(A Top Pick April 10/12. Up 32.93%.) It reached her price target so she sold her holdings in February. Likes the company so if it pulled back she would consider going back in.

TOP PICK

Largest provider of flavor and fragrance to food. Customers include Proctor and Gamble, Nestle, L'Oreal and Heinz. Grew free cash flow yield. Share buybacks. Sees 4.95 as metric for forward earnings.

PAST TOP PICK

(A Top Pick June 20/13. Up 38.26%.) An exceptionally interesting company that is so little known and so little talked about. What is really well-known are some of their customers, Heinz, L’Oreal, Unilever, etc. Pretty much any food or fragrance or anything that has a taste or aroma to it, this company is responsible in some way, shape or form. This is what gives them the added benefit of pricing power.

DON'T BUY

He sees this as an advantaged industry. He is much more interested in the fast growing natural and functional food ingredients. This company makes artificial flavourings as part of their portfolio.

WATCH

He sold into the bid. He stays on the sidelines because they needed to deal with the financing and the merger integration, which will take several quarters. It makes sense to be patient.

COMMENT

A good company that stock has been dragged down by a complex deal with Dupont. IFF has a history of consistent sales, because consumer package companies need the proprietary sense and taste to move merchandise. He's never seen a stock this cheap. They report Monday and it could bounce back.

BUY

A better buy than AMRS-Q and it's much more established.

BUY

He likes the call action and bought them today.
