This is a hard one to judge. They have taken heavy oil and made it into light oil through some sort of process which apparently now works. Would be cautious on this.

Mr, Friedland has taken on 3 of the biggest projects on the planet. Nothing is small. Everything has huge potential and takes huge amounts of capital. No production yet, but you never want to bet against him. He can't get his head around this one, so no recommendation.

WEAK BUY

Extremely difficult to assess where the price is going. Has 3 big projects and any one of them could be worth $1 billion. It will take time and money. It's incredibly exciting. Not a bad technical floor on the stock.

BUY

Has had very little pull-back in a space where there has been recent pull-backs in energy companies.

DON'T BUY

Recently found oil in foreign countries.

One of the most unique managers and promoters in the business. Could do an awful lot of growth in their existing oil business. They have 3 absolute massive plays on the planet and if any one of these things work out, the numbers are enormous. Wildly speculative.

WEAK BUY

Has three enormous plays that could add a fantastic amount of value to the stock. Very expensive. Very speculative.

DON'T BUY

Not one of their favourites. They're chasing some technologies that they feel are not too hopeful. Larger companies have been trying to develop similar technologies with limited success.

WAIT

There are a handful of projects in this and none of them are small. Taking massive shots in the dark. Would buy when everybody else gives up on it. A wild ride.

DON'T BUY

Have some interesting prospects. A very small junior producer. Larger integrateds will make you more money with a lot less risk.

DON'T BUY

Very speculative. A lot of uncertainty about their projects and if capital will be forthcoming to develop them.
