Good and bad. The CEO is great whom she knows. Most of their cash flows comes from a handful of large diamonds, but luckily they turn them up regularly. Diamond markets are spotty and there are wider fears of a global slowdown. Also, there are worries of fake diamonds out there. He doesn't understand the dynamics of the diamond market well enough to recommend this.

A small, very speculative land holder in Canada. Higher nickel prices may push this stock higher
BUY
The silver-gold ratio? The silver-gold ratio is artificial; scarcity shouldn't determine the price, rather by production costs. Gold (price) moves first, but silver moves later and further. He owns a lot of MAG, one of the highest-grade silver deposits in the world. Well-run. Will generates lots of free cash.
COMMENT
He doesn't understand the geology here, but the managers are very good whom he knows. But consider it.
COMMENT
People are nervous, making knee-jerk reaction towards problems obtaining a permit in Turkey. But he is attracted to mining and gas activities in Turkey. AGI will likely work out this permit problem
BUY

Silver is the poor man's gold. SVL is not far along as MAG but worth buying for silver speculators. Their current deposit is better than the last one they sold. Their exploration is becoming predictive, though there's no guarantee of course, but looks good. He owns alot and likes this a lot.

PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Nov 06/18, Up 39%) He's picked this many times. They have a high-quality platinum palladium deposit in South Africa and the highest-grade zinc in the Congo; and likely the best copper discovery. Yes, there's a lot of political risk in the Congo and South Africa, so that's a warning.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Nov 06/18, Up 40%) A stand up performer. Their mine is getting better and better. They had a great quarter this year. There's pressure on the company to do something, but the CEO doesn't make mistakes. Buy this if you like gold.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Nov 06/18, Up 81%) In a few years when their Turkish mine goes online, the stock will jump much higher. This stock has given a lot to investors in the past year, so what is there left to give? Great managers and cash flow. They've bought back shares, which is always a good sign.
BUY
They a 5-million ounce deposit, rare. A low-grade one in Ghana which scares some investors, and they don't have production financing in place, but will come. But he's bullish about Ghana where insurgency fears are way overblown.
DON'T BUY
On the sidelines until the CEO impresses him; he's having implementation challenges. He's staying on the sidelines for now. Great CEO though.
COMMENT
The uranium market will take care of itself, but when? The uranium price will depend on Japanese restarts which has been tepid. Low prices have taken a toll on CCO. Also, their balance sheet is no longer great. This depends on your patience in waiting for uranium prices to rise.
COMMENT
They've had two amazing quarters, but have had sociological and operational problems in western Mexico. Investors should have tight trailing stops to protect against any stock downside. The stock has ripped in the last 2 quarters.
COMMENT
Gold mining stocks On a 40-year gold chart, we are closer to the bottom than the top. Gold mining stocks are cheap, and when they recover, they REALLY recover. Don't take too many risks nor invest too much. Returns could take 12-18 months, so wait. Gold trades inversely to confidence in the USD. US debt is too high and current levels can't sustain. Gold stocks won't beat the USD but will do less badly in a downturn.
BUY
Likes the managers, but concerned with the topography. A decent-sized gold project. A good speculation.
