BUY

(Market Call Minute.) This got hit with Brexit, but the CEO has been buying, so this would be more of a buy right now.

SELL

(Market Call Minute.) This is just a disaster and it is time to go.

DON'T BUY

(Market Call Minute.) There are so many marijuana companies that whole sector should be avoided. It is a ridiculous valuation for a commodity-based product. There will be some companies that will make money, but if you cannot predict which ones, then stay away.

BUY

(Market Call Minute.) Just reported earnings tonight. They matched estimates, but raised their guidance, but margins went down, so he is not too sure of the market’s reaction tomorrow, but is a very, very solid company overall. Still worth buying.

DON'T BUY

(Market Call Minute.) They extended the life of their debentures by 3 years, but this is a company that needed 3 years to survive, so you don’t need to be there.

DON'T BUY

(Market Call Minute.) You just can’t go there. It is a deep discount value.

BUY

(Market Call Minute.) This is still a buy. It had a big run and is consolidating now. Not a bad company.

DON'T BUY

(Market Call Minute.) A company with a giant market cap with revenues not quite there, with lots of memoranda of understandings, but not that many contracts. Very interesting, but way too expensive.

TOP PICK

An infrastructure company testing things like pipelines and bridges, etc. Has a very big water business. Made an acquisition that is starting to work out pretty well. Their technology tests a pipeline to make sure that it is still robust. Revenue growth last quarter was 71%, and 35% of that was organic growth. Management has about a 5% position. They have a “no debt” balance sheet with cash on the books. A fairly small company that is starting to hit it out of the park. Dividend yield of 2.14%.

TOP PICK

This is a valuation call. Trading at 7X earnings. We had peak auto production last year. A great company, a great industry, the largest in North America, big European presence, and people are saying it is over and no one is going to buy a car again. They forget that Tesla (TSLA-Q) and Apple (AAPL-Q) have already talked to this company about production. Magna has the balance sheet to make pretty much any acquisition they want. Even if the sector did roll over, this company would just pick away at certain companies, and build up their market share for the next cycle. Very well-run. Dividend yield of 2.64%.

TOP PICK

A bus manufacturer. 15X earnings. There is a big position in terms of shareholder ownership of a company called Marco Polo, European bus manufacturer. He likes their backlog of $5.3 billion, which is more than 2 years of revenue. They continue to win orders and are executing very, very well. Costs are going down. In the last quarter, they increased their dividend by 37%. Dividend yield of 2.35%.
