(Top Pick May 26/15, Down 64.64%) You can be right with the fundamentals but if it is in the wrong hands you could be wrong. Their growth in terms of number of units has been skyrocketing. The fundamentals are fantastic. It trades at 2 times cash flow. He would look at buying more here.
Everybody has been excited about the gaming stocks, but now the tide has changed quite a bit. He looked at this briefly, but wasn’t particularly excited about the portfolio product they have. If investing in this sector, there are several considerations you have to keep in mind. 1.) Make sure the company has a product that is less prone to regulations. 2.) Make sure you have the best player. He is very skeptical about investing in small gaming companies.
Ridiculously cheap. Stock trades at about 1.5X next year’s EBITDA. This has been dragged down by the whole Amaya (AYA-T) type of situation. They don’t do online gaming, they make video lottery terminals, mostly in bingo halls in Ontario and Québec and in lodges in the US. A portion of their gate goes to charity. OLG loves this company, and are planning to continue to roll it out. Thinks there is going to be about a 20% growth this year. They have now got approval to try it out in sports bars in Missouri. Should be trading at least 2 or 3 times where it is now.
A new management team came in. This company has nothing to do with online gambling. They manufacture video lottery terminals that get put into bingo halls, and are now doing a trial to put them in bars in Missouri. In about 30% of the business bingo halls in Ontario, and that is growing every year. OLG loves this product. It derives traffic and keeps people there longer, and they spend more money on food/alcohol.
There is no coverage on the street as yet. Once that happens and it gets more publicity, it will go higher as it gets better known. They make video lottery terminals that the OLG and Lotto Quebec are putting in bingo halls. Also, have 4 states that are trying them out. They provide a slot machine like experience. They get really good traction and share the revenue effectively with the OLG. It is a recurring revenue model. He has them trading on a forward basis at 4.5X EBITDA, which he thinks is way too cheap. OLG is planning on expanding this pretty quickly throughout Ontario, and maybe even trying it in bars as well.

(A Top Pick Dec 23/15. Up 4.94%.) This was spun out of Amaya Gaming. It does not depend on online gaming. They do video lottery terminals in both bingo halls in Ontario and Québec, and Legion halls in a number of US states. The stock is very cheap and he still likes this quite a bit.
