(Market Call Minute.) Pretty weak price momentum, volatility is not great and valuation is in the middle. This would not be a Buy for him, a Hold if anything.

(A Top Pick March 19/15. Down 31.43%.) A transportation logistics company. Sold his holdings in June and missed some of the decline. Was negatively affected by the higher trade weighted dollar. Trading at about 10X earnings, so it is still very cheap. Has a decent balance sheet and good returns on equity, so is one that he could potentially revisit at some point.

(A Top Pick March 19/15. Down 41.86%.) Got out last June when he started to see the earnings erode. The stock is still very cheap and it is a very high quality company. Wouldn’t hesitate to get back into it. Trading at less than 10X earnings.

Trucks and supply chain management. They have a fair bit of debt. They have made money over the years, though. They are in a bit of an upswing, but he stays away from cyclical companies with a lot of debt.

At a decent valuation and it touches every aspect of the US economy, which will do well. It is an alternative to railway stocks. They have a sizeable fleet. They are the largest operator in the US.
