Stockchase Opinions

Peter Hodson TIR Systems Ltd TIR-T BUY ON WEAKNESS May 17, 2004

Likes their technology. Have the opportunity to have a global marketplace. Expects it to drop a bit further and would consider buying then.

PAST TOP PICK
(A top pick Nov 21/03. Up 15%.) Still thinks they're very good opportunities for this company.
TOP PICK
Has very good visibility into revenues. Planning on moving to the TSX this year. A good backlog of orders.
BUY ON WEAKNESS
A fabulous company. Feels the stock price has gone way ahead of itself. Well-run. Very well financed. Good growth profile.
BUY
Likes the management team. Good product. Have a world wide market. Getting big contracts.
DON'T BUY
Have approval to go on the TSX. Expensive. Has looked at it, but valuation has been too high.
DON'T BUY
An interesting company. Most of their business is with one customer, so is something happened to that deal, it could be a problem. Would consider buying under five dollars.
DON'T BUY
Analysts had been expecting a loss of $0.03 but there was a loss of $0.09. Will lose their BP contract with no new contracts coming in. A relatively high PE at 40X.
TRADE
Had a gigantic contract with BP gas stations, but that project is behind them. Have 12 pilots underway, but the trick is converting those pilots into new business. Near term earnings have declined which is the reason for the drop. Have gone back up based on the patent opportunity.
DON'T BUY
Is not making money at this time. Had a good contract, but when it was finished, they suffered losses with no replaceable contract.
