The sandbox it operates in is tough. You'd be buying it for a major turnaround or inventory de-stock. Perhaps there's a buyer out there looking to pick up a marquee asset at a discounted valuation.
A lot of "if, then, maybe, probably not so" in an already tough market. NKE and ADS have both struggled. Chinese market is extremely competitive, and foreign makers are losing share.
Could be a flyer at the very far end of your "core & explore" portfolio. He'd just stay away.
