A London, ON cannabis company. Fantastic things lie ahead for him. They built a small cultivation facility and will build an extraction one that will process their own raw product into finished products. They signed some deals with larger American companies to access their edible products like chocolate. As those products enter the Canadian market this fall, their revenues and cash flow will ramp up. They're super-cheap now.
BUY
It was a past pick of his. They signed some big brands out of the US. Once we get into extractive and concentrated products, and see some of the new products beyond dried flowers, oil and rolled products, this stock should take a step up. It could be an exciting year for them. He has been disappointed with the stock price but knows management will continue to move it forward.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Jan 24/18, Down 53%) As a smaller cannabis producer, they have not moved into the international expansion. They have done some interesting branding deals in the US. The stock trades at a good multiple and they have a good cash holding. He will continue to hold it.
BUY

They are a medical marijuana producer. Their master grower has been working with a number of patients. It really helps having that experience. They have a couple of brands that will be big when they start extracting the product.

COMMENT

Medical cannabis. The stock hasn't performed well lately, nor has the sector. The small- and medium-sized cannabis companies have underperformed compared to the big ones. There are worries about too much supply in the market. He likes NDVA and was a past pick. Management has executed as planned by growing their facility. The market isn't rewarding them. Overall, there's a finite number of dollars to invest in cannabis, so money has left the smaller guys over supply fears to invest in the big guys.

COMMENT

At a high level he finds it interesting that the M&A activity is happening. He does not follow this one. He feels there is a bubble in the market.

HOLD

He holds this company and thinks this medical marijuana producer is still a good hold. They are awaiting a sales license he says and once they have that the inventory will be able to be sold. This will bring news on a quarterly basis and put it on investor’s radars.

TOP PICK

Medical marijuana. This is newer and under the radar. They recently went public. Has a facility in London that is fully funded with a master grower who has been in the space for quite a number of years. They'll have a few catalysts, with the biggest one being getting their sales license.
