Tim Nash Horizons Global Sustainability Leaders Index Etf ETHI-T PAST TOP PICK May 16, 2019

(A Top Pick Mar 14/19, Up 1%) He would stick with it. We were through a bit of a roller coaster. You will notice there is not a lot of liquidity. It is a new ETF, about 6 months old. He expects it to track the global stock market. He has no problems sticking with it as a core part of doing no evil. Companies need to have a carbon footprint 60% below their industry average. It includes no fast food, or chemicals of concern. It has large cap global companies.

TOP PICK
It is fairly new (last Oct). It was the first ETF in Canada that is socially responsible and fossil fuel free. It trades in Canadian dollars, also. This is a great option.
COMMENT
Screens the largest global by market cap, avoiding exposure to fossil fuels and climate change risks. This area will continue to explode. It is not a fad. But it does have to align with your personal values.
BUY
Recently a top pick for him. New ETF only been around since the end of October. Doesn't have a huge amount of data to be able to track this. Love the methology to exclude the nasty stuff he doesn't want to invest in as a sustainable investor. This ETF only invests in companies that have their carbon footprint 60% below their industry average. Going to do very well if we have carbon pricing. 75% exposure to the US market. Excited to see the election in the US and climate change being a key issue in the US Democratic debates. If they end up electing a president that takes climate changes seriously this could perform well. A thumbs up for him for investors that are seriously concerned about climate changes.
BUY
A Canadian dollar ETF that is socially responsible and fossil fuel free. There is also no harmful chemicals, and no junk foods. They recently also added a screen for having at least 1 female board member. Very U.S. based and not quite as diversified. Overall a sustainable ETF.
