COMMENT

Nice, gentle bumblebees. The bumblebees are being trained to leave the hives with their legs coded with very special products in order to be passed onto the plants in the fields. Still in the research/development phase, but is advancing. Speculative, but looks extremely interesting.

RISKY

Mainly in the R&D phase. They dust bumble bees to go out into green houses to apply natural pesticides. They are important to Monsanto, who are looking at them carefully. In the end they will not be a giant producer of money, but could be a takeout candidate.

COMMENT

This has some very competent people and scientists. They dust the legs of the bees and go in the fields. His best hope is that a large chemical company would want to acquire this.

COMMENT

This is at the point of commercialization, and its connections are extremely good in the world of pollination. It is really like a bit of a sideline, and you really need something like a Monsanto that everybody hates, going very bee conscious and buying them. It might do well because something like Monsanto might do well expanding into that territory. This should do better over time.

COMMENT

If there ever was an extreme niche, this is it. They gather the pollen and special powders to deal with the fields and nasty pesticides. 90% of the world’s commercial greenhouses actually buy hives of bees.
