This company and F5 Networks (FFIV-Q) both deal with making info off the internet come quicker. Prefers F5, which has a much more defensible position. This one is a little more cyclical as those expenditures could cut back more in a recession. He would own both companies.

He has moved from layer 1-3 to switching technologies (layer 4-7). Those companies are the growth companies. These guys are dealing in application management, not just bit management. FFIV is the leader and his biggest holding, Riverbed is the next step up in the area of switching and routing. Lately these companies all had a big run, so move to layer 1-3 companies like CSCO-O until these pull back.
