BUY
Has dropped off like the others in this sector, but not so abruptly. Has got 2 or 3 quite important mines.
BUY
Probably a takeover target for Newmont Mining (NMC-T). Have a resource of 6 million ounces in the Hope Bay project near Nunavut. Looking at a 25% to 50% higher stock price over 2 years.
TOP PICK
Has a deposit called the Hope Bay in Nunavut. Have approximately 9 million ounces of gold. The largest undeveloped medium grade gold deposit in Canada. Have all the environmental permits waiting and once they are approved, they will move up. Have increased their resources by another million.
HOLD
Have a proposed joint venture with Newmont Mining in the north-west territories. Its full value, so you are paying up for it.
HOLD
Will probably take some time for them to get their permitting in place, but they will overcome the challenges. Share price has come back a lot. A reflection of the gold industry. A tough business.
WEAK BUY
You need a long-term outlook for this one. 80 km greenbelt zone with some good potential.
BUY
Should be in production in a few years. You'll have to be patient with this stock.
DON'T BUY
Has a major set of ore bodies in the north. The stock is probably overpriced.
HOLD
A big property for such a small company. Not sure if they can handle it.
BUY
Need patience. Buy for the long term. Finding some good intercepts. Can very exciting.
BUY
Will ultimately turn out to be one of the few large undeveloped properties.Expect they will have to get one of the majors to help them out.
BUY
Potentially has a very large ore body. Could be a takeover.
BUY
Good mine. Will be worth more because of possible takeover.
STRONG BUY
Hope Bay project is good & will be a multi million ounce ore body
