Largest provider of prepaid debit cards in the US. Their main customer is Wal-Mart. There were some concerns that they would have troubles in the business with the expiry of their Wal-Mart contract in 2015. One of the steps they have taken is by just completing a deal with GE Capital where Greendot, in one of their other businesses, will manage the Wal-Mart credit card program, so if anything, they have enhanced their relationship. Trades at about 15X earnings and has about $5 a share in cash. Earnings growth is projected to be in the 18%-20% area.
(A Top Pick July 5/13. Down 3.47%.) Provides prepaid debit card to a number of retailers in the US. Their biggest customer is Wal-Mart (WMT-N). Ran into some problems on their 4th quarter report, but the next one was fairly decent. Getting closer to 2015, the Wal-Mart contract comes up, so there is some concern that it may not be renewed. A Hold at these valuation levels.
