He owns a lot of Full Metal Mines. It would have been a top pick if he could have picked 4 stocks. It is a well managed company. They have had numerous joint ventures that he believes are very interesting.
This is an interesting little company. It is run by a very young dynamic management team that’s done a stellar job thus far with the business. They adhere to what he would like to call the “joint venture business model” which is, they use their expertise and business acumen to acquire projects and joint venture them out. The exception to this was the project they called Lucky Shot and they drilled a couple of holes and they got lucky and hit some multi-ounce intercepts. They are saying that they can see multi-hundred thousand-ounce potential at Lucky Shot. They believe there is the potential to move that up perhaps somewhere between 500 and 1,000,000 oz. The average historical grade at Lucky Shot has been 1 1/2 ounces per tonne. A very speculative buy. Lucky Shot, with the kind of grade it has, will become a mine if there’s any size to it. Full Metal Minerals management believes there's potential to it. There's infrastructure nearby, both road and power. The greatest good is that it is also in Alaska which means it is in the US and any devaluation of the US$ would give you an incremental benefit on the Lucky Shot project.
Has a real interesting suite of properties in Alaska. The one of greatest interest is the Lucky Shot property. Good grade of one ounce material. Coming up to drilling season which is exciting. Also has a joint venture on the Aleutian Islands.
(A Top Pick April 17/06. Down 10%.) Put together a wonderful land package in Alaska. Have one particularly good prospect that they will be drilling this summer. Well-managed.
Have done extremely well. Has a number of projects, primarily in the Alaska area. Excellently run company. Put in a stink bid of $2, which would be a good buy.
Has one of the better geologists in the Pacific Northwest. Focus on Lucky Shot is a mistake. Could find a joint venture partner who would come in and develop without them having to do it. Doesn't think they have the experience/capacity to develop it themselves.
