Tim ReganAmrize AGAMRZBUYApr 20, 2026

Went public not quite a year ago. One of the biggest aggregate cement and roofing companies in NA. Undergoing a spinoff. Great future ahead. CEO of the parent in Switzerland came to join AMRZ, putting his own $$ into the company.

Great business, very motivated management team, pretty good price.

It is in the infrastructure business and spun off one of the biggest cement companies in the world with the CEO becoming the CEO of Amrize. He also bought $100 million in stock with his own money. There are lots of things to do to clean up profitability and lots of opportunity for re-investment. They don't have to ship a lot of money off to head office. It should be a big winner and the infra-structure space in general should be a big winner.

TOP PICK

It's really Lafarge North America. The new CEO bought $100 million of shares. The PE is reasonable. They do a lot of acquisitions. He targets $120 in 3 years. They will be at the forefront of the infrastructure build-out. It was just spun out, so is little known.

BUY

Cement and a bit of roofing. Will definitely benefit from infrastructure spending in US. Metrics don't look cheap, but it actually is because of the way it was spun off. CEO of parent has come to NA to run it, putting his own $$ in. Lots of commitment from management, and lots of room to run.

TOP PICK

Spinoff of one of the largest cement companies in the world. Now focused on NA. Cement, aggregate, small roofing business that's growing rapidly. Strong competitive local advantage because this stuff is heavy. Very profitable. Ingredients for a big win.

President of the parent left to become president of this spinoff; when it went public, he bought $100M worth of stock. No dividend.
