Rick Rule Troilus Gold Corp. TLG-T WEAK BUY Jun 02, 2005

Very leery of the explosion of uranium vehicles. Wouldn't hold out much hope on the uranium, but on the coal side they are doing a better job. The idea of a mine mount power plant in the Yukon is attractive. Will require more capital than the company has.

A smallcap explorer/developer with an operation in Quebec. In Q3 2020, a preliminary assessment was done: 8 million ounces, with 250,000 ounces yearly for the first 14 years in an open pit, then will go underground for around 10 years to produce 100,000 ounces annually. It's like a mini-Detour Gold c.2009, which has since doubled its resource/mineral output. TLG trades at a 50% discount to peers, and will be an M&A candidate. Aggressive capital program, but there is an overhang from a $45 million equity issue that will last only a few months. (Analysts’ price target is $3.71)

(A Top Pick Jul 06/21, Down 49%) Tale of the gold space. Nothing specific with the asset. Still high quality. Resource update by end of 2022 will give investors more clarity, especially given the impact of inflation.

Going to build a mine in Quebec, unless someone buys them. Veterans of the industry, with engineering and geological expertise, have joined the company. Has letters of intent for over $1.3B from export development companies, including Canada.

Going through financing, which should be in place Q1 next year. Fully permitted. Probably a royalty stream on the silver portion of the mine, with maybe a bit of equity as a top up. Yes, you can put some money in and forget about it for a while. No dividend.

(Analysts’ price target is $1.54)
