Jim Cramer - Mad Money The AZEK Company AZEK-N COMMENT Dec 10, 2021

The make faux-wood construction products for deck and trim. It was a winner when it went public 18 months ago, but they have peaked and are stuck between $35-40 for months. Faux-wood is a growing secular trend. They reported in mid-November a nice beat, but guidance was merely in-line, so shares sold off. It has since recovered. Can it break out of its range?

Watch for a pullback in the DIY Bull market leading up to the Nov. 3 vote: The more people stay at home, the likelier they are to do home improvements. One company that benefits is AZEK, which makes a fine faux wood that is easy to maintain. The stock is cheap at $37.
BUY
The stock hasn't gotten enough love, no respect. Last week, they reported a good reported, yet sold off. Their margins are expanding and benefiting from people remodeling their homes and buying their faux-wood and building products which demand little maintenance. They're sturdy. After a little more selling, this stock will turn around. They're #2 in this industry and will continue to benefit from the home-building boom. Net sales are up 22% YOY and they beat their top and bottom lines last week. Margins are expanding. Good CEO who's been cleaning up its balance sheet; debt can be paid down in a year. CEO has invested well in marketing to get its brand known in the homebuilding industry. They are producing at capacity and plan to boost that capacity to meet demand. Lots of room to grow. AZEK uses a lot of recycled materials in their products. Insider sales were unfrozen last Wednesday, so shares may come under pressure, but temporarily.
COMMENT
They pre-announced strong quarterly results in January and yesterday delivered that good quarter. They benefit from the current housing boom.
BUY

The housing industry will benefit from lower interest rates. AZEK makes great faux-wood products (i.e. for decks) which saves consumers on buying wood, and their products are mostly from recycled materials.

BUY

Has long liked this stock, because they make solid faux-wood products and they consistently outperform in this sector. Shares are up 40% this year and reported a good quarter when the housing sector is struggling.
