Preferred B: A good way to a get tax-efficiant yield. Hold it, collect your yield, and over time see capital appreication. There are few prefs left with captial appreciation as well as yield. This is one of the not well-priced in the market now, so you can benefit later.

Aimia preferred shares: It's run into problems. It'll be difficult going forward. The value was in the Air Canada miles, not Aeroplan. If you own a preferred share that's not paying a yield, then it's distressed. Take a loss.

Just Energy vs. Crius: Just's chart hasn't performed well. It trades at a fair 5x EBITDA. Problem with these companies is that they're an energy marketers, but the market believes it better to own the client (producer), not the marketer. You're much better with Cruis: activist investors moved onto the board, better yield, less levereg.
