Today, Slack began trading on the NYSE. Slack is a collaboration and messaging app especially built for work. At Stockchase and Wealthica we use Slack daily for meetings and team communications.
We did not buy any Slack stock today, but we are watching. Slack chose to enter the stock market with a direct listing. Unlike an IPO, a direct listing does not restrict how many shares can be sold.
