Flat Wednesday

It was a quiet day on the markets as the TSX & S&P stayed put while the Nasdaq slipped by 0.16% and the Dow by 0.13%. In Toronto, seven sectors were up, led by energy and materials while tech led the laggards. Major movers: CNQ 4.04% as the most active name, Suncor 2.85%, Allied Properties REIT -27.83%, Colliers -11.08% and Discovery Silver 9.52%. On Wall Street: Ford 2.06%, Sandisk 10.65%, Robinhood -8.91%, CBRE -12.24% and Leidos -8.91%.

On commodities, silver jumped over 4% to US$84, gold added US$55 to US$50.80 while WTI gained a dollar to US$65.The U.S. 10-year yield edged up to 4.172%.
