Markets partially rebound

Tuesday markets regained some ground recently lost as the S&P rose 2.51%, the Nasdaq 2.71% and the Dow 2.66%.

Major movers included Equifax leaping 13.84%, Nvidia 2.04%, Tesla 4.6%, Apple 3.41% and Northrop Grunman sliding 12.66%. The U.S. 10-year yield held around 4.397% while Bitcoin jumped US$3,900 to US$91,260.

In Toronto, the TSX rallied 1.24% as all but two sectors gained. Energy, tech, discretionary and especially healthcare rose. Most active were Royal Bank up 2.29% and CNQ 2.27%, while Bausch Health jumped 10.29%, Brookfield Business Partners advanced 5.97% and Imperial Oil gushed 5%. WTI crude added 2% to US$64.30 while gold gave back US$4 to US$3,381.
