U.S. stocks rebound

With the TSX closed for a holiday, Wall Street was back in business on Monday and American shares bounced back after Friday’s sell-off. The S&P regained 1.447%, the Dow 1.34% and the Nasdaq 1.95%.
Once more, Nvidia led the rally, jumping 3.62% to new highs, Palantir roared 4.14% ahead of earnings after the bell, Williams-Sonoma popped 6.85%, PG&E rose 6.52% and Monolithic Power climbed 5.73%. In contrast, ON Semiconductor tanked 15.58% while Amazon slid 1.44%. Bitcoin edged up by US$245 to US$114,680, while gold added US$12 to $3,376 and WTI declined US$1.20 to US$66.15. The U.S. 10-year yield inched down to 4.192%.
