The chart's been up and down. Sure, there are massive oil reserves, but there are also political governance and corruption issues which turn him away.

Net income has been flat for three years. To move the needle, they have to make a lot of or bigger acquisitions. Historically, this has done well, but today it's expensive. Management is very arrogant--it won't do a conference call with investors. He doesn't like that; communicating with investors is fundamental. No clear strategy; it's a hodge-podge of small companies.

He has no idea to assess Trump and his macro plans. It's a political nightmare. Sell. A tariff would lift US steel stocks, but demand for US products will also drop. Be prudent and let this stock go.

They've had some challenges. Longtime shareholders have done well. Tariff fears and high multiples have led to a nasty contraction. That said, the longterm outlook is good. Keep watching it, but the sell-off isn't over yet.

(Past Top Pick, Sept. 11, 2017, Up 10%) Recovered nicely from a rough patch recently. Still likes it. It's a stable business. Dividend will slowly grow. They grow by acqusition, so a new acquisition is long overdue.

It's done really well, but he's starting to wonder how much more room it has to run. Same with Microsoft. They're seeing limited headway in China and emerging markets. Current valuations  are stretched.

The stock is getting no love. Not the best-run company. That said, it's begun restructuring (i.e. may sell a division, pay down debt, etc.) so it's a good time to step in. Also cheap at only 9x forward earnings. Pays a 4.3% dividend yield. Upside is ahead.
