Markets in New York and Toronto slid Tuesday led by weakness in tech and materials. The S&P closed -0.69%, the Nasdaq -1.33%, the Dow -0.22% and the TSX -0.84%. Major movers in New York: Nvidia<\/a> -2.34%, Intel<\/a> -6.58%, Apple<\/a> 1.45%, Super Micro Computer<\/a> -2.27% and Micron<\/a> -7.02%. In Toronto: BRP<\/a> 7.74%, Bausch Health<\/a> 5.93%, B2Gold<\/a> -3.74%, Celestica<\/a> -8.38% and Aya Gold & Silver<\/a> -6.06%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gold itself sank US $74 to US$4,341 silver fell 3.35% to US$63.30 and WTI rose another 0.57% to US$85.05. The U.S. 10-year yield declined to 4.706%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
