The U.S.-Iran ceasefire ended and with no talks resuming. This\u00a0sent oil spiking nearly 3% on Monday to US$84.75 and names like Whitecap Resources<\/a> jumping 2.69%. Energy was one of only two sectors that rallied, while tech and healthcare led the rest of the TSX down by 0.17%. Other key names on Bay Street included Brookfield<\/a> -2.38%, Lithium Americas<\/a> -7.66%, CNQ<\/a> 2.97% and Endeavour Silver<\/a> -4.67%. Silver itself rose 1.6% to US$65.60, while gold added US$39 to US$4,415.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In New York, the indices were also in the red: the S&P -0.52%, the Nasdaq\u00a0-0.32% and the Dow -0.51%. Sandisk<\/a> rocketed 8.88%, Coherent<\/a> 7.79%, Carvana<\/a> -7.28%, Constellation Brands<\/a> -6.19% and Super Micro Computer<\/a> -3.92%. The U.S. 10-year yield climbed to 4.728% while Bitcoin<\/a> advanced 2.1% to US$64,335.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
