The rotation out of semis and memory stocks continued Tuesday, pushing the Nasdaq down 0.22%, but lifting the TSX by 0.52% to 35,751, another record close. The most-active name on Wall Street, Intel<\/a>, sank 5.86%, Micron<\/a> tumbled 8.85% and Sandisk<\/a> cratered 14.25%. Tech was actually the strongest sector on the TSX as money flowed into software names Celestica<\/a> which jumped 9.49%, Descartes Systems<\/a> 6.16% and Constellation Software<\/a> 6.45% on high volumes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flows were also strong into Telus<\/a>, the most-active name, which rallied 2.52%. Meanwhile, Hammond Power System<\/a> slid 10.56%. Telcos and staples were also resilient on Bay Street while materials lagged as silver declined 2.22% to US$57.65 and gold fell US$51 to US$4,024. As the war calmed in Iran, WTI crude fell another 4.15% to US$79.20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In New York, Comcast<\/a> rallied 6.1%, and Corning<\/a> tanked 12.05%. Bitcoin<\/a> slipped 1.5% to US$63,935. The U.S. 10-year yield edged down to 4.602%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
