The TSX finished Friday up 0.43% to end in positive territory for the week. All but energy and another sector rose, led by real estate and healthcare. Major movers: Mullen Group<\/a> 7.2%, Thomson Reuters<\/a> 5.24%, Celestica<\/a> -8.67%, Denison Mines<\/a> -5.53% and Hammond Power Solutions<\/a> -5.52%. Materials climbed: silver up 0.85% to US$58 and gold added US$3 to US$4,053. WTI though sank 2.45% to US$89.90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The U.S. indices were mixed for the day and down for the week. The S&P was flat on Friday but the Nasdaq slipped 0.69% and the Dow gained 0.41%. For the week, the S&P sank 0.6%, the Nasdaq tumbled over 2% and the Dow fell 0.4% Key names: Apple<\/a> 3.53%, Intel<\/a> -7.89%, Sandisk<\/a> -10.79%, Coherent<\/a> -9.84% and Lumentum<\/a> -8.47%. The U.S. 10-year held at 4.683%<\/p>\n\n\n\n
