The TSX continued to notch gains, up 0.71% to US$33,258 as seven sectors\u00a0rallied. Industrials, materials and telcos led the way while staples were the weakest. Major movers: Shopify<\/a> 7.41%, ATS<\/a> 4.48%, B2Gold<\/a> 3.12%, Celestica<\/a> -6.65% and Novagold<\/a> 4.28%. Gains were made despite silver slipping 3% to US$80.80, gold declining US$28 to US$5,030 and WTI falling 0.33% to US$64.15.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wall Street fared less well with the Dow barely gaining, the S&P closing -0.33% and the Nasdaq -0.59%. Major movers: Intel<\/a> -6.29%, Palantir<\/a> -2.38%, S&P Global<\/a> -9.71%, Western Digital<\/a> -8.19% and Datadog<\/a> 13.74%. The U.S. 10-year yield slipped to 4.147% while Bitcoin surrendered US$1,800 to US$68,880 to continue its slump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
