The Canadian index rallied 1.45% or 440 points to 30,827 while the Dow added 0.68% to 48,255, crossing 48,000 for the first time. However, the S&amp;P added only four points while the Nasdaq slipped 0.26%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All 11 sectors were in the green in Toronto, led by strong gains in materials and consumer staples.
