Stocks in New York and Toronto ended the week with solid gains after a positive U.S. jobs report Friday and signs of a thaw in Trump’s tariff war. The S&P rose 1.47% during the session, the Nasdaq 1.51% and the Dow 1.39%. The three indices gained at least 3% for the week, with the Nasdaq advancing 3.4%.
