Only financials showed any weakness and that was modest. Staples, telcos and utilities led all other sectors higher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were few outsized moves apart from <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/GSY-T\">Goeasy<\/a> sliding 9.95%. Elsewhere, <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/POW-T\">Power Corp<\/a> rose 0.59%, <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/INE-T\">Innergex Renewable<\/a> 2.2%, <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/ASTL-T\">Algoma Steel<\/a> 2.09% and <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/RY-T\">Royal Bank<\/a> made an intraday high and closed 0.23% higher. WTI remained above US$84 and gold held round US$2,353, both showing little movement.
