The TSX traded at only a third of regular volumes, but still gained 0.27% to stay within striking range of all-time highs. Most sectors rose, led by minerals, followed by industrials and discretionary. Only four sectors showed weakness, particular staples. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notable movers were <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/2482\/OSK-T\">Osisko Mining<\/a> up 4.75%, <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/1424\/BTE-T\">Baytex<\/a> 1.48%, <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/931\/PAAS-T\">Pan American Silver<\/a> 4.14%, <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/3688\/BTO-T\">B2gold<\/a> 4% and <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/1006\/QBRB-T\">Quebecor<\/a> at -1.58%. The price of gold inched up to US$2,350 while WTI crude advanced 1% to US $78.50.
