Markets continued to rally into Tuesday. The S&P rose 1.2%, the Nasdaq 1.59% or 245 points, and the Dow added 0.69%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tech rebounded strongly as AMD<\/a> jumped 2.28%, Nvidia<\/a> 3.49% and Tesla<\/a> 1.94% then jumped another 6% after hours when it reported, albeit a mixed quarter. Meanwhile, GE<\/a> leapt 8.7% and American Airlines<\/a> sank 1.45%. The U.S. 10-year yield held at 4.6% while Bitcoin<\/a> declined 1.15% to $US66,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The TSX added 0.68% to return above 22,000. All sectors were in the green, led by tech, staples and industrials. Barrick Gold<\/a> added 1.29%, Baytex Energy<\/a> 3.79%, Tilray<\/a> 7.23% and Shopfiy<\/a> 4.6%, though Ivanhoe Mines<\/a> closed -4.68%. Gold held around US$2,320 while WTI added 1.4% to US$83.40.
