As the investing world mourned the loss of investing legend, Charlie Munger, stocks on Wall Street ticked down modestly even as the U.S. 10-year yield declined to 4.263% after U.S. GDP in Q3 was revised up from 4.9% to 5.2%. Despite this optimism, the S&P shed four points, the Dow 13 and the Nasdaq retreated 0.16%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key movers on Wall Street were Bank of America<\/a> up 2.64%, GM<\/a> soaring 9.38%, Schwab<\/a> at 6.81%, Humana<\/a> -5.49% and Las Vega Sands<\/a> -4.87%. Meanwhile, Bitcoin also lost a little ground by trading around $37,700.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In contrast, the TSX gained 0.47% as financials and industrials led most sectors into the green. Staples was a rare loser. Major movers on Bay Street were First Quantum Minerals<\/a> which tanked over 10% after the Chilean government shut down their mine, CNQ<\/a> added 1.62%, Osisko Mining<\/a> rallied 6.6% and the Bank of Nova Scotia<\/a> recovered 3.72% of its major loss the day before on disappointing earnings.
