The U.S. 10-year yield ticked down to 4.495%, but stocks were mixed in New York while Toronto continued to fade. The S&P closed on Wednesday flat, up four points, as was the Nasdaq, adding only 10. Meanwhile, the Dow finished at -0.12%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sectors were mixed though communications suffered serious losses as Paramount Global Discover<\/a> sank nearly 8% and Warner Brothers Discovery<\/a> plunged 19%. Elsewhere, Intel<\/a> closed at -2.19% and Take-Two Interactive<\/a> rallied 5.21%. Bitcoin<\/a> added 0.39% to $35,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The TSX closed -0.23%, also with sectors mixed. Industrials and staples were up, but materials and energy sank lower.
