Elsewhere, TC Energy<\/a> closed -4.7%, Hudbay Minerals<\/a> rallied 8.2% and Capstone Copper<\/a> jumped 6.1%. WTI crude rose more than 1% to approach $80 a barrel to extend its current run.<\/p>\n Wall Street was focused on major tech earnings. The S&P closed 0.28% higher, the Nasdaq 0.61%, and the Dow 0.08%. In heavy trading were Tesla<\/a> which closed -1.54 and Intel<\/a> which gained 1.4%. Bank of America<\/a> finished the day -1.53% while MSCI<\/a> popped 9.04%. After hours saw a flurry of tech earnings reports, including Snap which plunged, though Alphabet rallied. The U.S. 10-year yield climbed to 3.888% while Bitcoin<\/a> inched up 0.3% to $29,200.
