Major stock movers included Vermilion Energy<\/a> up 4.75%, TC Energy<\/a> 3.61%, Imperial Oil<\/a> 3.68% and Empire<\/a> adding 3.66%.<\/p>\n In New York, the Dow was flat as the S&P closed -0.45% and the Nasdaq 1-16%. Tech saw losses with some profit-taking including generative AI favrouites which have run up sharply this month. Tesla<\/a> closed -5.83% and Nvidia<\/a> -3.5%. Elsewhere, Carnival<\/a> sank 7.5% while Boston Properties<\/a> jumped 9.92% and Newell Brands<\/a> rallied 4.65%.
