There were broad gains as Amazon<\/a> rose 3.15%, Apple<\/a> 1.62%, Etsy<\/a> 9%, Lennar<\/a> 5.71%, Sherwin-Williams<\/a> 5.06% and Warner Bros Discovery<\/a> 6.18%. Laggards included Lam Research<\/a> at -7.35%, Applied Materials<\/a> -5.18% and AMD<\/a> -3.66%. WTI oil climbed 2.5% to nearly $109. However, the U.S. 10-year yield actually slid below 3% to 2.894% while Bitcoin<\/a> continued to slump, tumbling 2.6% below $19.500.
