The TSX rose 0.44% to 20,286 as financial and energy stocks rallied.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Triggering the avalanche of selling were tech giants <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/5483\/SNAP-N\">Snap Inc<\/a>, down 43%, and <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/6057\/PINS-N\">Pinterest<\/a>, down 24% compared to yesterday. Other significant movers included <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/71\/ANF-N\">Abercrombie &amp; Fitch<\/a> at -29% and <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/4277\/FB-Q\">Meta Platforms Inc<\/a> at -7%.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/3927\/TOU-T\">Tourmaline Oil Corp<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/893\/NVA-T\">Nuvista Energy Ltd<\/a> helped the TSX to close slightly higher than yesterday. They rose 4.17% and 4.44% respectively. <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/5093\/SHOP-T\">Shopify<\/a> was among the biggest losers of the day at -11%.<\/p>\n<p>&#x1f47b; <a href=\"https:\/\/stockchase.com\/company\/view\/5483\/SNAP-N\">Snap Inc.
