Major movers were ATS Automation<\/a> jumping nearly 12%, Lightspeed<\/a> soaring 10.11%, Barrick Gold<\/a> rallying 4.36% and Xebec Adsorption<\/a> rising 12.82%. Heading down were Cascades<\/a> by 4.32%, CP<\/a> down 2.29% and Telus<\/a> slipping 2.26%. Both WTI and WCS gained around $1.80 per barrel to top $111 and $94 respectively. The U.S. 10-year yield edged down to 2.842%.<\/p>\n Things were less rosy on Wall Street. The S&P closed -0.58%, the Nasdaq -0.26% and the Dow -0.75%. Again, tech led losses, starting with Cisco<\/a> which plunged 13.73% after a disappointing report, Apple<\/a> slipping 2.46%, Walmart<\/a> losing another 2.74% and Hewlett Packard<\/a> retreating 4.57%. However, PayPal<\/a> regained 5.31%, Freeport-McMoran<\/a> rose 3.9% and Booking Holdings<\/a> rallied 2.59% on the cusp of summer.
