Heading down were homebuilders like Lennar<\/a> at -4.74%, chipmakers such as AMD<\/a>, losing 2.92%, and consumer names Home Depot<\/a>, shedding nearly 3% and Nike<\/a>, slipping 2.33%.<\/p>\n Energy and financials offset losses in tech in Toronto. CNQ<\/a> added 2.68%, Air Canada<\/a> rose 3.92% while Royal Bank<\/a> broke new highs as it climbed 1.39%. Other winners were pot stocks like Canopy<\/a> up 3.45% and Aurora<\/a> at 2.5%. However, pressure in China pushed Canada Goose<\/a> down 6.31%, Lithium Americas<\/a> sank 5.63% and Shopify<\/a> fell 2.78%.
