Big movers included Denison Mines<\/a> which soared 12.81%, Greenlane Renewables<\/a> which jumped nearly 12%, Aritzia<\/a> which announced another strong quarter and forecast and rallied a further 4.33%. As noted, energy was down with Suncor<\/a> slipping by 1.44% and Cenovus<\/a> by 1.25% while Magna<\/a> lost over 3%.<\/p>\n Gains were a little more muted on Wall Street as the S&P advanced 0.34% and the Nasdaq defied a modest increase in the U.S. 10-year yield (to 1.583%) to close 0.84%. However, the Dow decreased by 0.1%. The Dow components were mixed, though industrials and healthcare took it on the chin. Notable gainers included Facebook<\/a> by 3.26%, Tesla<\/a> at 3.21%, Moderna<\/a> 3.28% and AMD<\/a> up 3.84%. Losing ground were some travel names, such as Carnival<\/a> at -2.38% and Disney<\/a> at -3.01%, as Amgen<\/a> closed -2.27%.
