Tech saw a mixed day with AMD<\/a> sliding 3.75%. Recent IPO Airbnb<\/a> continued its volatile run as it surged 5.72%.<\/p>\n In Toronto, weak energy stocks helped pull the TSX down 0.23%. Vermilion Energy<\/a>, for example, slipped 3.37%. The index was also pressured by Alimentation Couche-Tard which is trying to take over Carrefour SA. ATD’B<\/a> tumbled 10.19% as the heaviest-traded stock. Also changing hands was Aphria<\/a>, popping almost 6%, and its peer Cronos<\/a> leapt 9.51%. Staples, energy and materials lagged. Lightspeed rallied 8%. Methanex<\/a> declined about 5% while Pan American Silver<\/a> retreated 5.92%. The price of WCS actually climbed over 2%.
