He owns platinum through the BMG ETF, as they have silver, gold, and platinum. Better value is in a silver or gold ETF. So he has a lot of cash in the Sprott physical gold and silver ETFs, and they have more upside than platinum or PALL. For silver, he buys the coin.

COMMENT

Metal stocks tend to do well through the Nov-Dec timeframe. Palladium benefits from the pickup in industrial production, even through the first 4 months of the year. The trend is certainly positive with higher highs and higher lows, but it is reaching the upper limit of its trend channel, so don’t be surprised if there is a bit of retracement. Industrial production tends to fall off quite significantly in July, because all the factories shut down.
