Gives you double leverage to oil. If you think crude oil prices will go up and you only want exposure to the commodity this will work. Can be very volatile. You also don't get dividends that you would get with a regular company.

Oil is getting cheap and the price has to be set at the cost for producing it. Given the long-term shortage of energy and the emergence of the far east, oil will bounce back when we get a recovery. Probably not a bad bet if you have a lot of patience.

A leveraged oil play and will trade with oil prices. Oil will probably form a bit of a bottom here and then trade sideways. Maybe it will go up over time. He would tend to focus on oil stocks in January and February, preferably February 5th.

Feels pretty strongly about oil prices over the longer-term. $80 to $100 a barrel is his guess on the right range. High risk because of the volatility of oil prices.
